Thank you to everyone for trusting me to take on this role. Although nerve racking, it is an honour and a privilege to be taking over the baton from Jackie - I only hope I don’t let you down.

I’m delighted that Di Tass has agreed to be my Vice Captain and I look forward to working with her and the rest of the Committee. Di has already helped me to plan the diary for 2024 and we have done our best to spread the events throughout the year so that they are not too close together.

During the year, I will be trying to raise some funds for my chosen charity, HERTS VISION LOSS, You can read more about their work by visiting www.hertsvisionloss.org.uk.  I was diagnosed with Keratoconus (a progressive eye disease) in both eyes when I was 17 so this charity (amongst others) is very dear to my heart BUT more importantly, my aim is to raise awareness of what it’s like to live with a visual impairment.

I hope that we can enjoy some good golf in 2024 but the most important thing is that we have fun and enjoy ourselves. HLGCS has always been a friendly organisation and I look forward to welcoming new Herts Lady Golf Captains to join us.
